If I do temporary work how do I get paid & what benefits am I entitled to?
All temporary staff are employed by Resolution Recruitment on a temporary contract. The benefits are the same as most permanent roles, over a year a temp is entitled to 20 days paid leave, including bank holidays and are offered stakeholder pension schemes, however there is no paid sick leave, this is statutory. The main difference with temporary work is all staff are paid on a weekly basis, via bacs direct to your bank account. Please note that the first week is in lieu.
Temporary contracts are very flexible, clients can terminate employment at any time and you are not required to give official notice if you find alternative employment. We do however ask all of our temps that are working on long-term assignments that they give us and the client sufficient notice if they are intending to leave so that we can provide adequate cover.
